RE: Ruby Triangle scheme SE15 1LE

Avanton is committed to deliver this exciting new scheme which will benefit the wider community. The project is likely to take 4 years from start of demolition, through to completion of units. Within this time frame, we will remain committed and engaged with the community to mitigate any disturbance this development may cause. Avanton will be regularly updating the website www.avantonrubytriangle.co.uk and will be monitoring a dedicated email address- rubytriangle@avanton.co.uk. Once a contractor has been appointed, they will put in place a dedicated liaison office to answer any day-to-day queries.

Currently on site there is an archaeology investigation alongside other ground investigations taking place. Please note that such investigations are not classed as demolition. These investigations are imperative in order to ensure we can deliver the scheme.

Before demolition can begin, certain conditions of discharge must be agreed with the local authority. When we appoint a demolition contractor, they will produce a demolition management plan which will be submitted to the Council for a sign off. Once conditions have been satisfied and the Council approves the plan, the demolition will start along the north-eastern part of the site. This is planned to begin in December 2019.
